In his writing, Bryce utilizes and bends the genres of heightened realism, comedy, and farce to speak to themes of deconstruction, empathy, and family. Bryce draws inspiration from many sources, including the brilliant works of Lynn Nottage, Anton Chekhov, and Oscar Wilde.
Bryce received his Bachelor's in Theatre and Performance Studies from the University of California, graduating with highest honors and the Roslyn Schneider Eisner prize for Continuing Creative Achievement.
